Chris Boucher has been making the most of his minutes in recent games, and has scored in double digits in four of the last five, but I think this line is a little too high prior to facing a string of plus matchups in the past. Albeit a small sample size, Boucher averages 12.8 PPG in the six games without Scotti + IQ where he sees more than 17 minutes. The games where he saw 12+ points were vs. CHA (rim-funnel), SAC x2 (27th in spot-ups), & MIL (24th in spot-ups + 26th in transition). Boucher offers a unique combination of talent about to drive and shoot at his 6’9” size but it won’t be the best spot vs. the Pistons. They rank 3rd best in limiting transition (19% of his PTS) and 10th best in limiting 3PM (34% of his PPG). He’ll likely meet Duren and Stewart at the rim (Pistons rank 5th in PITP) and his 3PT prop is U1.5 -200 @ ESPN. Assuming this happens, he averages 7.2 PPG and under in 2 of the 7 games when he fails to make 2+ 3PM. I can see Tobias Harris concentrating on defending him as well. #PlayerProps

Poeltl AVG the 3rd highest PnR roller FREQ% in the league and DET allow the 4th highest FREQ% to the roller off PnR action. Poeltl vs. T10 teams in PnR FREQ% (regardless of who's in/out for TOR): - CHA: 20 PTS (14 FGA) - DEN: 24 PTS (18 FGA) - DEN: 16 PTS (13 FGA) - MIL: 13 PTS (13 FGA) - 28 MIN In these specific MU, Poeltl's covered 3/4 - AVG 18.3 PPG and 14.5 FGA...he's AVG more FGA than the line we're getting. The MIL game was the last of a 5 game road trip where he only played 28 MIN. Poeltl has covered this line in 5/6 games when seeing 11+ FGA this season, w/ the only miss once again being that MIL game (where he also missed a FT to cover - +23.3% FT% @ home). Poeltl AVG a 29.0% rolling FREQ% and 4.3 possesions per game - looking at centers vs. DET who AVG at least 3.0 possessions per game and a 20%+ FREQ%: - Lopez: 29 PTS - *covered* - Sengun: 27 PTS - *covered* - Allen: 17 PTS - *covered* - Turner: 20 PTS - *covered* Every center above covered their points line vs. DET and did so pretty easily by at least an extra basket. 3/4 centers also saw a +1 increase in their FGA compared to their usual AVG and the one who didn't (Allen) took 8 FTA, which is 4 more than his usual AVG.
