NBA Same Game Parlay Odds & Pick
The Parlay: (+165)
- Austin Reaves 14+ Points
- Jamal Murray 20+ Points
- Nikola Jokic 12+ Rebounds
Austin Reaves 14+ Points
After a few dormant games in the Warriors series, Reaves came back to life in Game 1 against the Nuggets. He netted 23 points, and I'm counting on Reaves to continue to operate as the Lakers' third option tonight.
The second-year guard has proven valuable on both ends of the court, which has secured him a massive minutes floor (42 minutes in game 1). Reaves has cleared this line in eight of the 13 games in which he’s played at least 36 minutes over the course of the regular and post-season.
I have the Oklahoma product pushing 40 minutes again tonight, which should yield at least 17 points.
Jamal Murray 20+ Points
Murray went nuclear in Game 1, scoring 31 points in part to some incredible shot-making. He’s proven to be a reliable scorer for the Nuggets this postseason, averaging 26.3 points per game, while hitting the 20-point milestone in eight of 12 contests.
The Lakers have struggled with their on-ball defense throughout the season. Murray exploited the matchup against Dennis Schröder in Game 1, and I don’t see any obvious adjustments Darvin Ham can make to slow Murray down.
Against a Lakers team that allowed the fifth-most points per game to pick and roll ball-handlers, I expect Murray to continue to show out.
Nikola Jokic 12+ rebounds
While I don’t expect Jokic to clear this line in the first quarter, like he did in Game 1, I do expect continued dominance on the boards from the Joker.
Over the course of the regular season, the Lakers allowed the fifth-most rebounds per game to the center position. Jokic has cleared this line in seven of 12 games so far in these playoffs.
Schematically, the Lakers have been looking to clear out the paint for Anthony Davis to operate offensively (especially with Jarred Vanderbilt losing minutes). That typically leaves Jokic as the only Nugget in prime rebounding position.
