PropBetGuy will break down his favorite NBA play of the day and will track all his bets in the Action Network app.
I cashed in on Luka Doncic over 8.5 rebounds on Saturday in Game 1, and I’m happy to climb the ladder a bit and bank on the Slovenian to hit his boards prop again in Game 2.
Starting with the raw numbers, Doncic has been a force on the glass since the All-Star break, averaging 10.1 rebounds per game.
In fact, over his last 19 games playing at least 34 minutes, Doncic has pulled down double-digit rebounds 15 times, and he’s registered at least nine rebounds in all 19 games.
In Game 1 against the Clippers, Doncic pulled down 13 of the Mavericks' 41 boards on 19 rebound chances, both easily pacing Dallas.
Spending the majority of his defensive possessions on lower-usage players (Terance Mann and Amir Coffey), Luka was free to clean the glass. I see that repeating itself in Game 2, even if Kawhi Leonard winds up suiting up.
And after playing 42 minutes in Game 1, despite the Mavericks trailing by a wide margin for the majority of the contest, it’s safe to expect another 40+ minutes in Game 2.
In what should be another stat-stuffing performance, I have the MVP candidate projected at 11 rebounds tonight.
