While Jrue Holiday’s shooting numbers in this series might scare you, the shot volume that he's getting is just too great to ignore right now.

The UCLA product has 69 points in three games this series, but he needed 70 shot attempts to reach that total — good for 37% shooting.

Without Khris Middleton, it’s evident that Holiday is going to need to score to complement Giannis Antetokounmpo’s offensive game. Over the course of the regular season and playoffs, Holiday has had 23 games in which he’s registered at least 18 scoring attempts (shot attempts + half of his free throw attempts).

He’s reached at least 21 points in 19 of those 23 games, and the Bucks have a 16-7 record. Basically, Holiday’s volume has equated to both individual and team success.

And yes, he’s only 3 of 5 in such situations against the Celtics' stingy defense. But quite honestly, his open looks have been there. Holiday is getting the same percentage of open shots (52%) as he did in the regular season, but only converting those shots at 42% (compared to 49%).

With the Celtics focusing on Giannis, I love Holiday to keep firing in Game 4. I have the 13-year veteran projected at 24 points tonight.
