When the Pacers swung the midseason trade with the Kings to bring in Tyrese Haliburton, many saw this as a huge victory for the future of the franchise. The sophomore guard is averaging 28.7 points and assists combined in his 12 games in Indiana.

And in the six games without Malcolm Brogdon in the lineup, those numbers bump up to 31 points and assists. Playing in a wide open offense that prioritizes lead guards (and surrounds them with shooters), Haliburton is in prime position to stuff the stat sheet.

The Hawks have been brutal defensively this season, rating 27th, and allowing the fourth most assists. Halliburton’s size should present matchup issues for Atlanta’s backcourt.

Even on a road back-to-back, I’m banking on a big game from the 22-year-old. I have Haliburton pegged at 31 points + assists.

Pick: Tyrese Haliburton over 27.5 points + assists (-113 at FanDuel). Playable up to over 28.5 PAs.
