This number has moved pretty steadily overnight, so it may move more. But it has moved enough to make the Angels a value for me, so I'm willing to take it now. I have the Angels as slight favorites in this game even while not being overly high on what Patrick Sandoval has done to open the year. He's not getting nearly as many strikeouts as he did in the past, instead relying on weak contact. I'm not a huge fan of that approach, so I assumed I'd be on the Astros here. But even with a lower number on Sandoval, I'm still showing value. The Astros are better right now against lefties than righties, but their small-sample wRC+ is still just 98. You may want to hold off to see if you can get a better number, but I think now's a good time to buy low on the Angels.
