The Astros have been giving Bielak plenty of leash, and he has gotten enough strikeouts to inspire confidence in the over. In Bielak's five starts, he has hit the over here three times, including outings with nine and six strikeouts. Both of those were at home, and he hasn't popped as much on the road, but it's far too small of a sample to consider that sticky. In one of his road starts, Bielak had a 12.5% swinging-strike rate against the White Sox en route to an over. I have Bielak projected for 4.26 strikeouts, enough to push us toward the over at plus money.

Reasons why I’m betting on Kyle Tucker: -2/3 career vs Manoah -Manoah has been bad this year, especially vs lefties (.273 BAA, 884 OPS allowed) -Manoah operates low in the zone (with his sinker/slider/change) and Tucker one of the better low ball hitters (and Tucker equally strong vs 4-seamer, Manoah’s other pitch, and should be able to handle Manoah’s 93 mph when it’s elevated) -Tucker great in away games - .290 avg, and has either 2+ total bases or 2+ HRRBI in 13/L23 road games -road away games vs righties even better - .304 average and .884 OPS -11/30 career in Toronto with 2+ hits in each of his last 5 games -hitting right in his average for first game in a road series - not worried about that affecting him -Astros as a whole are hitting righties exceptionally well on the road - 113 wRC+ and .763 OPS over L30 days (both top 5) - good for tucker run and RBIs (should be batting 5th between Alvarez/Bregman and Abreu/McCormick - all hitting decently of late) -opponents averaging 5.4 runs per game in Manoah starts -should see Manoah twice and then an average-below average TOR pen
