In games where the Celtics win by 15+ points with Jrue and JB active, Pritchard is averging 16.0 PPG and they will now play the Wizards in the Group Stage as 15.5 point favorites vs. team with a 2-11 record, and losers of double digits in eight of their last nine games. Pritchard is also averaging 16.3 PPG in road games with the starters healthy, scoring 15+ points in five of the six away games, including 15 vs. the team he’s facing tonight. They allow the 6th most transition points (24% of his PPG) and 4th most above the break 3PT (64% of his FGM). According to PropsMadness, when Pritchard sees a top-7 above the break 3PT funnel, his average boosts to 17.2 PPG, going over this line in 80% of games. Boston thrives in transition, fueled by Tatum and Brown’s lethal three-point shooting. Washington’s fast pace and weak perimeter defense set up a high-scoring matchup. Despite struggles, the Wizards’ offense, led by Poole, can capitalize on Boston’s occasional lapses, making the over appealing.

Playable at 28.5 (CZR) Tatum has been cooking with gas this season and is averaging 29.9 points per game with a 73% hit rate on this 27.5 points prop. Tonight, Tatum gets a NBA Cup matchup against the lowly Washington Wizards who Boston should be trying to blow out while keeping their foot on the gas to improve their group point differential. While I have some reservations about just how much Boston cares about the NBA Cup title, they still shouldn’t have any issues taking care of the Wizards. The Wizards play at the league’s fourth-fastest Pace with the league’s worst defense, per Dunks and Threes. There will be a plethora of opportunities for Tatum to cook against this defense. Tatum has scored at least 25 points in 4/5 games against Washington the last two seasons and even though he scored just 25 in the one game this season against the Wizards he still took 20 shots which is right in line with his season averages. In blowout wins (15+ points) Tatum actually averages more points per game than his season average with a healthy 31.6 ppg. I like Tatum to exceed 28.5 points with the additional upside if Boston truly tries to run up the score on Washington for the Cup standings.
