Haliburton is averaging 3.5 rebounds per game this season, so this opening line is a full rebound higher than his season average. It makes sense, though, as the Bulls allow the 2nd most rebounds per game and will be without Nikola Vucevic and Ayo Dosunmu. It feels like this opening line is accounting for these factors. Still, Haliburton has only averaged those 3.5 rebounds on just 5.5 rebound chances per game this season. I will note the Pacers are without Bennedict Mathurin, and RotoGrinders CourtIQ does show Hali gets a slight bump in his rebounding rate with Mathurin off the court. But in the month of February, Haliburton averaged just 2.8 rebounds per game over 5 rebound chances, which are both slightly lower than his season averages. It’s not a good matchup but I’m playing this and hoping he sees close to his season average of 5.5 rebound chances and doesn’t convert on 5 of them.
