Definitely a scary fade given Simmons’ role is secure with Dennis Schroder gone, but he’s averaging just 6 points this season over 24.9 minutes and 4.8 field goal attempts per game. Nets are expected to get both Cam Thomas and Cam Johnson back for this game against the Magic’s top-3 defense. In three prior matchups against Orlando, Simmons had 7, 4, and 0 points. I have Simmons projected closer to 5.7 points and am hoping the return of the Cams turns Simmons into even more of a rebounder and passer instead of a shooter.

Over the last 8 games with Franz Wagner out, da Silva has averaged 3.3 rebounds over 6.5 rebound chances per game, so his absence hasn’t greatly increased his rebounding numbers. Minutes will be there for da Silva given how banged up Orlando is but I’m banking on him having an “average” game here in terms of rebound chances and hoping he doesn’t have an outlier performance.
