Warriors vs. Kings Odds & Betting Predictions - February 22, 2025

🔑 Warriors ML -130 (FanDuel) 3u 🔨 time. Warriors are 20-12 as favorites, 6-4 in their L10 and look like a different team with Jimmy. Kings have won the last 2 matchups but I like GS to get this one, the line screams GS to me.

The Warriors face off against the Kings following the All-Star Break and I’m looking at Steph Curry to set the tone for Golden State. When he’s played alongside of Jimmy Butler, he is averaging 36.3 PA with the one miss at 30 against a staunch Houston Rockets’ Defense. He has upside in both scoring and assists and could see spikes in either stat with Jimmy’s ability to drive and kick to set Curry up while also capitalizing on Jimmy’s downhill ability as a cutter. I’ll back Curry in this spot.

Jimmy’s role on the Warriors is elite! He’s had a 22%+ usage rate in every game and projected to play 34 minutes tonight. He has a 67% hit rate this season when he plays 30+ mins with a 22%+ usage rate. From a scoring perspective, the Kings are allowing the 2nd most points in the paint L15, which is where Jimmy scores 91% of his point production. They also allow the 7th most free throws on the season, which accounts for 43% of Jimmy’s scoring production. I’m adding RA here as I see massive upside in both categories. In his 4 games with the Warriors, he leads the team in rebound chances per game with 13. They have been playing a ton of small ball with Draymond at center, Jimmy’s rebounding ability will be needed! His playmaking ability has also been in full display. He’s averaging 10.8 potentials per game with the Warriors, and this is a great matchup as SAC has allowed the 6th most assists per game to 3s since the deadline. 58.8% of Jimmy’s assists have gone to 3s this season, compared to a league average of 42.3% of assists going to 3s.
