This is a play on the matchup, which should be brutal for Burton. Miss St packs the paint and doesn’t allow much around the basket - they allow the 7th fewest pts from 2P in the nation. Burton doesn’t shoot well from the outside (only 18/58 from 3P this season), with 78% of his points coming via the 2P. And Miss St plays really slow (334/363 in tempo) - it’s hard to see him racking up both points AND assists, with limited possessions.
