USC quarterback Caleb Williams and Cincinnati linebacker Ivan Pace, Jr. headline Action Network’s 2022 All-American team.

Action Network’s first- and second-team All-Americans consist of 52 players, including Williams as the Offensive Player of the Year, Pace as the Defensive Player of the Year and Pitt's Israel Abanikanda as the Special Teams Player of the Year. TCU’s Sonny Dykes is our Coach of the Year.

In all, 40 schools were represented among our 52 first- and second-team All-Americans. Eight schools had multiple players: USC (4), Notre Dame (3), Ohio State (3), Alabama (2), Iowa (2), Pitt (2), TCU (2) and Utah (2).

Among the conferences, the Big Ten led with 11 selections, followed by the SEC (9), Pac-12 (9), ACC (6) and Big 12 (5).

Action Network’s All-American team was selected by Collin Wilson, Stuckey and myself based on statistics, advanced metrics, individual player ratings and, well, our own opinions.
