Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jayden Daniels of LSU headlines Action Network’s 2023 All-America team.

Daniels earned Action Network’s Offensive Player of the Year honors, while Texas defensive lineman T’Vondre Sweat was Defensive Player of the Year. Iowa punter Tory Taylor picked up Special Teams Player of the Year honors.

Arizona’s Jedd Fisch was selected as Action Network’s Coach of the Year. Before the season, Arizona was projected to win only five games, but Fisch led the Wildcats to a 9-3 record. All three losses came by seven points or less, including two in overtime.

Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., Notre Dame tackle Joe Alt, Kansas State guard Cooper Beebe and Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell were two-time Action Network All-America selections after earning honors last year.

The 52-player team was led by the SEC with eight selections, followed by the Big Ten, Big 12 and Pac-12 with seven players each and the ACC with six.

Besides Harrison, Alt, Beebe, Mitchell and Taylor, seven other players named to Action Network’s All-American team were also on our preseason All-American team: Washington quarterback Michael Penix, Jr. and wide receiver Rome Odunze, Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy, Michigan guard Zak Zinter, Illinois defensive tackle Jer’Zhan Newton, Georgia tight end Brock Bowers and UCLA defensive end Laiatu Latu.

Forty-one schools are represented on the All-American teams, led by Georgia with three players. Nine schools had two players honored: Boise State, Iowa, LSU, Miami (Ohio), Michigan, Texas, Toledo, UNLV and Washington.

The teams were selected by Action Network's Brett McMurphy, Collin Wilson and Stuckey.
