BYU +3.5 (-134)
Stuckey: I have these teams dead-even on a neutral field playing at full strength.
While Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are expected to suit up, it's possible that not all of Colorado's stars will end up playing the entire game as they look ahead to their NFL futures.
I'm also not buying Colorado's defense, which feasted on bad teams and backup quarterbacks this season. It gave up 37, 27, 31, 31 and 28 points against the five Power 4 bowl teams they faced.
Under 55.5 (-129)
Collin Wilson: Shedeur Sanders is going to throw directly into the strength of the BYU defense, which is a secondary that ranks second in creating contested catches.
On the other side of the ball, Colorado's defense will play man coverage at about a 50% rate against BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff, which will create a problem for him.
Colorado's defense is also top-25 in limiting the explosive pass, which should slow down the BYU offense.
Shedeur Sanders 400+ Passing Yards (+650)
Mike Calabrese: Shedeur Sanders led the nation in adjusted completion percentage from a clean pocket. He was also top-five in adjusted completion percentage when facing a blitz.
Teams that can get to him without blitzing like Nebraska did well against him, but BYU sits 100th in pass rush.
This is a showcase game for Sanders, who knows he is vying with Cam Ward to be the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
