Somehow, someway, we've made it to college football bowl season.
Bowl season will look slightly different this year with only 37 games scheduled compared to 46 last year. Although that's the plan, expect more opt-outs, postponements and cancellations, and no cohesive announcement plan like in normal years.
Stanford, Virginia, Pittsburgh and Boston College were among the first teams to announce they wouldn't be participating in bowl games this season. The Bahamas, Celebration, Fenway, Hawai'i, Holiday, Quick Lane, LA and Redbox Bowls are some of the bowls not hosting games this season, while others were quickly added to the list.
