  • We've updated our 2019 college football bowl projections after Week 12 with projected point spreads for each hypothetical matchup.
  • There's still so much to be decided in the last two weeks, particularly in the Pac-12 and MAC.

Bowl eligibility is a fickle beast. It may seem like a sure thing for some teams, but everything comes down to the final two weeks.

It may seem impossible for others who weren't projected to get anywhere near six wins but find themselves in the mix and needing just one small upset in the last two games to reach the postseason.

Below you'll find the projections for every game below, plus projected point spreads on those matchups via our oddsmaker-style power ratings. Action EDGE members can use them to make a line between any two teams.

CFP & New Year's Six Bowls

The Alabama situation is impossibly complicated because the Tide really won't have any quality wins, and while they aren't fully eliminated, Tua Tagovailoa's injury will be taken into consideration and feels like a death blow.

That leaves a potential one-loss Oklahoma team with the fourth and final spot. Right now, it looks like it will come down to the winner of the Pac-12 Championship Game or Oklahoma if everyone else holds serve.

But if Georgia wins the SEC Championship Game or Ohio State loses, we could still get a one-loss Buckeyes or LSU team in the CFP, plus another SEC team (Georgia) or Big Ten team (Penn State, even Wisconsin as a major longshot).

Every Other Bowl Game

The Pac-12's bowl season is really coming down to the wire, with four teams at 5-5 and four at 4-6.

The SEC will not fill all its slots in a weird year for the league, partly due to lack of depth at the bottom but also because it will send so many teams to New Year's Six bowls.

Instead a spot could go to a mostly undeserving MAC team like Eastern Michigan.

Action EDGE members can use our betting-style power ratings to project point spreads between any two teams, including in remaining regular season games and bowls.
