It's time to dive into another loaded college football slate, this time for Week 8.
For the seventh straight season on our college football betting podcast, Big Bets on Campus, Collin Wilson and I pick our two favorite moneyline underdogs for each week's slate.
In each of the past two weeks, we've swept the board.
In Week 6, Wake Forest toppled a bad NC State team, while Collin cashed Florida in a Sunshine State victory over UCF.
In Week 7, I faded UCF once again against Cincinnati, as the Bearcats left Florida with an outright win. Collin, meanwhile, nailed LSU in its top-15 clash against Ole Miss.
If you parlayed those games together both weeks, you received a nice payday over 4-1 on consecutive Saturdays.
As always, it's onto the next week. It's time to turn our attention to Week 8.
This week, I'm going back to the well with a West Virginia team that burned me last week, while Collin heads out west for a late-night clash featuring Oregon State and UNLV.

I'm going with West Virginia here. The Mountaineers burned me last week against Iowa State, but I think this is actually a better matchup.
I was concerned about Iowa State's passing attack and its ability to create explosives against this West Virginia secondary. That's the Mountaineers' clear weakness, can we really trust Kansas State's passing attack right now?
I'll make Avery Johnson and company prove they can attack this secondary because the West Virginia run defense is solid.
Iowa State averaged under three yards for carry last week. Johnson needs to prove it he can go on the road and get it done in a hostile environment through the air. Give me the Mountaineers here.

I'm going to go with Oregon State in what could be the spot of the weekend taking on UNLV.
UNLV is going to come up to Corvallis at 2-0 in the Mountain West after routing Utah State. But what's on deck? A short week with a Friday night bonanza against Boise State in what could be the Group of Five game of the year.
This game doesn't mean anything for the Rebels outside of the College Football Playoff picture, which is already a little unlikely.
Injuries have been a really big concern for this Oregon State defense. The numbers are a bit skewed with players missing time, so you can't really look at its analytics and say this is going to be a great play.
On the other side, though, Oregon State should roll on the groun. The Beavers run the ball about 63% of the time and rank top-10 in Rushing Success Rate, so they know exactly how to attack this Rebels defense. Oregon State will make this a service academy-esque game to run the clock, secure first downs and keep UNLV's Go-Go offense off the field.
It's also worth noting that Anthony Hankerson and Jam Griffin have combined for 31 rushes that have gone for at least 10 yards. With Hankerson's 12 touchdowns also playing a role, Oregon State should be able to punch it in for six more often than not.
UNLV has also been torched by inside zone, which is bad news against an OSU team that can run both inside and outside zone with ease.
And finally, the Beavers have a big Havoc Allowed advantage here. UNLV won't be able to play around in the backfield for tackles for loss against this Oregon State offensive line.
Ultimately, Oregon State should have a big time-of-possession and first-down advantage while keeping the Rebels' Go-Go offense off the field.
