Alabama and Georgia will meet in College Football Playoff title game for the second time in five years.

The early line following the Bulldogs' win over Michigan is Georgia -2.5 with a total of 52.5 at FanDuel.

Georgia is -140 on the moneyline, Alabama +110.

The Crimson Tide took care of business against Cincinnati early Saturday morning, covering in a 27-6 blowout.

For what it's worth, FanDuel tabbed Alabama -6 against Michigan prior to the Orange Bowl, though that's a moot point.

Alabama met Georgia in the 2017 championship, winning in overtime.

The Crimson Tide are 8-6 against the spread entering the title game. The program is making its sixth championship appearance over the last seven years.

The defense, in particular, is heating up at the right time. Since losing to Texas A&M on Oct. 9, the unit has allowed 24 points or fewer in 6-of-7.

Quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young was aided by the run game Saturday, which piled up more than 200 yards on the Bearcats.

Georgia is the top team in our own Collin Wilson's Power Ratings; Alabama is No. 2.

Nick Saban got the better of Kirby Smart a few weeks ago, dishing the Bulldogs their first loss of the season in a 41-24 SEC title game rout.

Alabama closed as a six-point underdog in that one, the total at 48.

The College Football Playoff National Championship game will take place on Monday, Jan. 10 at 8 p.m. ET.
