Week 11 of the college football season is somehow already upon us, and Action Network senior writer Collin Wilson is on top of it.
Like all sports, grabbing the best number when lines come out is paramount when it comes to betting college football.
For example, a -6.5 favorite could move to -7.5 on Saturday morning, and you run the risk of that team winning by one of the most likely outcomes — a seven-point victory — and you just lost your bet.
Ideally, that could all be avoided by locking in the best number early in the week.
Wilson examined the board for Week 11 and came through with a best bet for a Saturday Sun Belt game: the Georgia State Panthers vs. the James Madison Dukes.

James Madison is coming off a bye week after shredding Southern Miss, 32-15, in a Week 9 home game.
The Dukes have plenty to play for in the final month of the season after a multi-year postseason restriction since they were a team transitioning from the FCS to FBS.
Any additional victories will have new head coach Bob Chesney taking the program to a better bowl game in its first-ever FBS postseason game.
Georgia State will make the trip to Bridgeforth Stadium in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with a suitcase full of used laundry.
The Panthers are winless in the Sun Belt, as they find themselves in the midst of a brutal travel schedule. Georgia State will play its fourth consecutive road game amid a winless season in Sun Belt play.
Not only are the Panthers struggling to gain traction in the conference, but they didn't have a post-game win expectancy higher than 7% in losses to Old Dominion, Marshall or Georgia Southern.
James Madison will also have the upper hand from a schematics standpoint, as the Georgia State passing attack will be met by one of the best coverage units in the nation.
The Panthers have also struggled defensively with a rank outside the top 100 in almost every category. Opponents are averaging 4.6 points on drives that extend beyond their 40-yard line, an area James Madison will take advantage of.
Our Action Network Betting Power Ratings have James Madison as a 17.5-point favorite, but considering the travel circumstances, this number is still worth considering in the event it steams to three touchdowns.
Plus, we have some BetLabs data supporting a trend on the Dukes here.
Pick: James Madison -17 or Better
