In the latest sign that it’s a completely new era of NCAA sports, Michigan State quarterback Aidan Chiles has some advice for college football fans.

Asked about the importance of sending a message when MSU kicks off its season against Florida Atlantic, Chiles had a simple response.

“If you bet, take the over.”

Those six words would have likely gotten him a significant suspension in the past. Now, college players are apparently free to voice such responses without fear of any repercussions.

The public appears to be taking his advice to heart,  72% of tickets and 67% of the money is on the over hitting when FAU visits Michigan State.

Sharps, though, haven’t gotten the message apparently, as our Pro Report tracks them backing the under.

The Spartans are massive 12-point favorites heading into the game. Fans think they’ll cover the lofty number as it’s the more popular pick with 56% of all bets. However, the money is slightly on the Owls with 51%.
