Nevada vs UNLV Preview
Nevada Wolf Pack Betting Preview
Nevada enters this Saturday on a five-game losing streak, with its last defeat coming against Air Force last Saturday.
Nevada did an excellent job keeping the resurgent Falcon offensive attack under wraps for the first three quarters as Air Force was held to one score in their first six possessions.
Despite their record, the Pack has been much more competent this year in all phases and has frequently performed well when facing the stronger teams on their schedule.
UNLV Rebels Betting Preview
UNLV has set the bar higher and higher in Barry Odom’s two seasons in Las Vegas and now has another “biggest game” on their schedule, which could open the door to bigger opportunities.
The Runnin’ Rebels have weathered the storm twice this season rebounding from close losses to get their season back on track.
The most recent three-game winning streak has seen UNLV get the ground game humming while the defense has remained strong.
With a conference championship and playoff aspirations on the line in this one, I expect a completely focused effort here.

Nevada vs UNLV Pick & Prediction
I am taking the Rebs in this one at -17.5.
Nevada's secondary has been its strength behind big, physical corners. That said, the Wolf Pack's front seven has struggled, allowing over 250 rush yards per game at over five yards per carry over the past four games.
Meanwhile, the "Go-Go" offense continues to put up points, averaging over 250 rushing yards over the past three weeks. Quarterback Hajj-Malik Williams is throwing the ball well but is similarly effective with his legs — he's scored 23 total touchdowns this year.
The Rebs will have major advantages in the trenches and should gash Nevada on the ground.
UNLV's defense has stepped up in the past three weeks, with the front seven shutting down opposing rushing attacks. The Rebels have allowed 77 rushing yards per game at 2.5 yards per attempt over the past three games.
The Pack will have to move the ball through the air. I'm banking on them failing against a UNLV defense that ranks top 40 nationally in Havoc created — a mark that includes 16 interceptions and 55 pass break-ups behind Jalen Catalon and Jonathan Baldwin.
Lay it with the Rebels.
Pick: UNLV -17.5
