Thirty years after Snoop Dogg released the hit “Gin and Juice,” his iconic song will headline a bowl game as the former Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl will now be known as the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl presented by Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop.
Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre commemorated the 30-year anniversary of their hit song earlier this year by releasing Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop, which are premade canned mix drinks provided in four flavors. As such, the Arizona Bowl will become the first ever NCAA-sanctioned bowl game with an alcohol product as it’s presenting sponsor.
"We’re thrilled about our groundbreaking partnership with Snoop and Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop," said Executive Director of the Arizona Bowl Kym Adair. "This year, the Arizona Bowl is bringing sports, libations, and entertainment into a singular bowl game, and we are changing the definition of what a brand partnership is in the NCAA."
The inaugural Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl presented by Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop will take place on Dec. 28.
