Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes have their easiest game of the season so far, according to the oddsmakers.
The Buffaloes are currently 11-point favorites against the Stanford Cardinal Friday night.
Colorado had been favored in three games this season: by three points vs. Nebraska, 21.5 points vs. Colorado State and three points against Arizona State. The Buffs are 1-1-1 as favorites.
This is the first time Colorado has been a double-digit favorite against a Power Five opponent in five years. The last time CU was favored by double-digits against a power-conference opponent was in 2018, when the 5-0 Buffs played Oregon State. Colorado lost that game outright in overtime.
Stanford has been getting more of the bets so far, according to our Action Labs database. The Cardinal are getting 56% of the bets.
Colorado could get a major boost this week as star wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter could likely be making a return. Sanders said he has a "tremendous" chance to be back on the field.
"He's cleared and he has protection on to secure those areas, but the game is the game," Sanders said. "The game is a violent game, it's a vicious game, it's a very physical game, but Travis is also physical."
