The SEC Championship game features one of the biggest matchups of the season.

The No. 5 ranked Georgia Bulldogs (10-2) will take on the No. 2 ranked Texas Longhorns (11-1).

However, this will be the second clash between these two titans, as the Bulldogs won the first head-to-head meeting in October.

Much has changed since then, and this time around, we may see a different outcome. Texas is a 3-point favorite on the spread with a 49.5-point over/under.

Let’s build on that game script and multiply our winnings with a same-game parlay for the SEC Championship.

Moneyline: Texas ML (-142)

I mentioned above that Texas lost its first matchup with Georgia, but it has not lost since, rattling off five straight wins against SEC opposition.

The Longhorns' defense has allowed them to regain their momentum. In that loss to Georgia, they surrendered 30 points, which is still the highest mark they’ve allowed all season.

The Longhorns should shut down Georgia’s rushing attack, as they rank seventh nationally in yards per rush allowed.

This will put the game in the hands of Carson Beck, who has to contend with a Texas secondary that leads the nation in yards per pass allowed while ranking 10th in sack rate.

On the other side of the ball, Texas’ rushing attack has stepped up with quarterback Quinn Ewers playing through injury. That should keep the chains moving against a Bulldogs defense that ranks 48th in yards per rush allowed.

This game is expected to be a hard-fought contest, and the Longhorns are better equipped to win these types of games.

Texas Player Prop: Quintrevion Wisner Anytime Touchdown

Building off the reasoning above, Wisner will be heavily involved in this matchup.

A few weeks ago, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian challenged his offense to find consistency in the run game.

Well, Quintrevion Wisner has risen to the challenge, amassing 344 yards rushing over the past two weeks against high-caliber defenses. He has also gotten the bulk of the carries in the red zone, with five per game over the previous two weeks.

With more success on the ground expected in this matchup, we should see Wisner find paydirt.

Georgia Player Prop: Carson Beck Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

We’ve already examined the matchup Beck and the Georgia offense will face, but this angle also concerns the game script.

Georgia’s rushing attack will be contained, and Beck will be forced to make plays with his arm throughout this game, particularly when trailing.

Beck has thrown at least two touchdown passes in nine of twelve games this season, and we’ve seen over the last few weeks how his ability to hit receivers for six can keep Georgia in ballgames.

Georgia has relied heavily on the passing game in the red zone, as Beck averages 5.7 red-zone passing attempts per game. He is also coming into this matchup off a season-high 11 attempts in the red zone as he led the Bulldogs back against Georgia Tech.

So, if Texas gets ahead in this matchup, you can bet on Beck to be the guy to keep Georgia alive.
