Utah and TCU are no strangers to playing in big games — particularly against each other as they used to battle to bust the BCS as Mountain West foes.

Just two seasons ago, TCU played for the College Football Playoff National Championship, while Utah was in the Rose Bowl. However, surprisingly, neither team enters this matchup ranked in the top 25.

Utah fell out of the polls after it was upset at Arizona State last week. Quarterback Cam Rising suffered an injury that will keep him out indefinitely, opening the possibility of him getting an eighth of eligibility.

In the meantime, true freshman Isaac Wilson will take over as Utah's quarterback, which is where we begin this same-game parlay.

TCU vs Utah Same-Game Parlay Picks

  • Isaac Wilson 200+ Passing Yards (-235)
  • Dorian Singer 60+ Receiving Yards (-155)
  • Micah Bernard 100+ Rushing Yards (-150)

Parlay Odds: +230 via DraftKings

Isaac Wilson 200+ Passing Yards (-235)

Rising got hurt in the first quarter last week and was clearly hampered the rest of the game as most of his passes missed low. However, Utah's coaching staff made the curious decision to stick with him instead of going back to Wilson.

The hesitancy may have had to do with the true freshman's decision-making. However, Wilson will get an opportunity this week.

As a starter, Wilson is averaging 242 passing yards per game and has thrown for 200 yards in all three of his starts. That includes a season-high 280 passing yards against Arizona.

Utah ranks 85th in Havoc Allowed, but TCU's defense is 96th in Havoc. This should be a week where Wilson has a relatively clean pocket.

Dorian Singer 60+ Receiving Yards (-155)

Wilson will certainly be targeting Dorian Singer. The USC transfer leads the team with 30 receptions for 434 yards and also appears to have a strong connection with Wilson.

Singer has had 60 receiving yards in each of his past four games and is averaging 97.7 yards per game over that span.

TCU hasn't faced a difficult slate of quarterbacks but has allowed a receiver to go for 60-plus yards in two of its past four games.

Singer's breakout game also came against Arizona, a contest in which he racked up 155 receiving yards. If Wilson throws for 200 yards this week, it's likely Singer will have at least 60.

Micah Bernard 100+ Rushing Yards (-150)

TCU hasn't faced many great quarterbacks, but its opponents haven't needed to pass much because of its run defense.

It ranks 106th in the FBS and is allowing 180.2 rushing yards per game. The Horned Frogs are also 102nd in Rushing Success Rate Allowed. Now, TCU has to deal with one of the Big 12's best running backs.

Micah Bernard is 14th in the FBS with 676 rushing yards and is averaging 6.6 yards per carry. He has run for 100 yards in four of his past five games and finished with 91 in the other.

Bernard has emerged as Utah's bell-cow back and has received at least 16 carries in each of his past five games. He also has 66 more carries than the next closest back on the roster.

While Bernard has received heavy volume, he has also been efficient and mixed in a few explosive runs. Bernard has a run of 15-plus yards in five of his six games and a run of 23 or more yards in four of his past five games.

Meanwhile, TCU ranks 99th in Explosiveness Allowed.

Utah averages 405.7 yards of offense per game, while TCU allows 335.7 yards per game. We will need at least 300 yards from the Utes to cash this parlay, but that should be well within reason.

Wilson, Bernard and Singer have hit these lines in the same game in two of Wilson's three starts.
