It’s not often I receive any complaints regarding my weekly bowl projections.
Well, that will change this week. That’s because my projections don’t include Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. I’m a native Oklahoman, but I can’t see either team — both decimated by injuries — winning six games.
Last year, the Sooners and Cowboys ended their annual rivalry, so if they don’t reach bowl eligibility, maybe they could create a consolation Bedlam Bowl. It could be played halfway between Norman and Stillwater at either Guthrie or Edmond High School.
While we wait for an NCAA waiver to add a bowl game between two sub-.500 teams, here are my Week 9 bowl projections. And if you have any complaints, take a number.
