NEW YORK — Jayden Daniels said he’d bet on himself if he could.

That's what he told the Action Network during an event for the Heisman Trophy, which will be announced at a ceremony on Saturday.

“I’d bet on myself just like [Bo Nix and Michael Penix Jr.] would bet on themselves,” Daniels told the Action Network. “I think it's self explanatory.”

Daniels was a massive favorite at roughly -1400 odds to win the Heisman before odds were pulled earlier this week. That means you would have had to wager $1,400 to win $100 on the prospective first-rounder to win college football’s preeminent trophy.

For reference, Penix Jr. was roughly +1000 while Nix is about +2200.

Odds are still available on offshore sites.
