Both the Islanders and Oilers haven't gotten their seasons to where they would want them to be, but each squad is still within reach of the playoffs, making their Friday night contest an important one.

Edmonton heads into this game on the back of two losses, those coming to the Vegas Golden Knights and the Chicago Blackhawks. It's also the third game the Oilers will play in four days.

The Islanders have had mixed results as of late, winning two and losing two, but they've played only one game since Feb. 3. They've gone through hot and cold patches throughout the year, but the Islanders now sit at a dead even 17-17-6 and are on the outside looking in at the postseason.

Edmonton is dealing with injuries to a larger extent than New York, as Duncan Keith, Kyle Turris, Zack Kassian will all be out. among others.

Here is where sharp bettors are putting their money for tonight's game.
