Everybody has that one buddy who loves to suggest the idea of parlaying all of the favorites.
If there is an experienced bettor in the group, that idea gets shot down pretty quick.
But that buddy would be sitting there laughing in your face right now if they bet the NHL slate yesterday.
The favorites went a perfect 14-0 on the Moneyline for the entire NHL slate on Saturday. That is 14 wins and zero losses.

It's rare to see all of the favorites win. It's even rarer to see it late in the season when many teams have already clinched their playoff spots.
Using The Action Network's parlay calculator, if a bettor placed a $100 wager on a 14-team parlay of all of the favorites in the NHL on Saturday, that bettor would have made $33,882.51.
The 2021-22 season has been a great season for the favorites. Favored teams are 820-455-0 (64.3%), according to Action Labs. Factoring in the moneylines, favorites have a 1.7% return on investment, which makes it the second-most profitable season for favorites since 2005.
The most profitable season for favorites since 2005 was 2012-13 when the favorites went 492-314-0. That season's return on investment was 5.1%.
Most teams have between six and eight games left to play in the regular season with it wrapping up on April 29. The Stanley Cup Playoffs will begin on May 2.
Favorites have not historically been profitable in the postseason with an 827-600 record and -2.1% return on investment.
