Check out Tony Sartori's NHL picks tonight for Wednesday, March 27 – his expert anytime goalscorer odds and best bets.

Tonight's NHL slate on ESPN+ and TNT features just two games. However, I have three NHL anytime goalscorer picks for the doubleheader.

Betting on NHL anytime goalscorers is simple enough: If your player scores a goal at any point in the game, your bet is a winner. MLB has its dingers; the NHL has its anytime goalscorers. And with both types of player props, the bets usually come with plus-money odds attached to them, so they're a favorite among all types of sports bettors.

Check out all of the analysis with my favorite anytime goalscorer predictions for tonight's NHL games below.

Jeff Skinner (+280)

The first game of Wednesday's NHL doubleheader features an Atlantic Division tilt as the Buffalo Sabres host the Ottawa Senators. Oddsmakers anticipate a high-scoring affair with the total set at 6.5 and the juice toward the over across the board.

One factor contributing to this high total is that Ottawa bleeds high-danger scoring chances at a high rate. At 5-on-5, the team ranks 21st in expected goals against per 60 minutes (xGA/60).

The Sens also rank in the bottom six of the league in penalty minutes taken per game and penalty kill percentage. That is where Buffalo forward Jeff Skinner is likely to capitalize, given he co-leads the team in power-play goals this year.

Skinner scored twice against Ottawa back in October, and I could see him lighting the lamp once again on Wednesday evening.

Pick: Jeff Skinner (+280 at DraftKings)

Senators vs. Sabres

Tage Thompson (+175)

I'm risking a half-unit on Skinner to score along with another half-unit on his teammate Tage Thompson. My thinking here is that I am fairly confident that at least one of these two guys will find the back of the net, which would guarantee a profit.

And, if both score – all the better.

I mentioned above that Skinner co-leads the team in power-play goals. His co-leader? I think you can guess.

At least one of these two guys has scored in five of the Sabres' past eight games, with both scoring in one of those five tilts. This success is likely to continue against goaltender Joonas Korpisalo, who is confirmed to start for the Senators on Wednesday.

It's been a tough season for Korpisalo, who is now 17-21-4 with a fade-worthy .888 SV% and 3.33 GAA.

Finally, Thompson has torched the Sens with seven goals over his past six games against them.

Pick: Tage Thompson (+175 at BetMGM)

Bruins vs. Lightning

David Pastrnak (+105)

The second game also features an Atlantic Division tilt with the Tampa Bay Lightning hosting the Boston Bruins. In this contest, we are going to target Boston forward David Pastrnak to find the back of the net.

He's always a threat to score as he is nearing 50 goals on the campaign, but he is in particularly good form with seven goals over his past nine games. This success could continue against Tampa, a team Pastrnak has posted nine goals against over the past 11 meetings.

Not only does Pasta lead the team in goals, but he also leads Bruins in power-play goals. This is worth noting because the Bolts rank 28th in the league in penalty minutes taken per game.

Meanwhile, goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy has continued to fail to return to his old self since returning from back surgery. He has now allowed three or more goals in 12 of his past 15 starts, posting a fade-worthy .885 SV% and 3.30 GAA across that stretch.

Pick: David Pastrnak (+105 at FanDuel)
