The New York Gaming Commission announced that four sportsbooks could launch in the state on Saturday at 9 a.m. ET.

If you are in the state of New York, you can start betting with Caesars, DraftKings, FanDuel and BetRivers.

DraftKings and FanDuel are giving new users $100 each in free bets — with no initial deposit — if they pre-register before 9 a.m. ET on Saturday.

That means you can bet on your favorite teams, like the New York Islanders, New York Rangers or Buffalo Sabres.

The Islanders and Sabres don't look like great squads this year, though.

The Islanders have scored the fewest goals out of any team in the NHL so far this year, but that's partly due to a coronavirus outbreak that left a few of their games postponed and yet to be rescheduled.

The Sabres, who have one of the worst goal differentials in the league, have given up the third-most goals in the Eastern Conference.

However, the Rangers are a squad. And Madison Square Garden is as live as ever as a result. They've been toggling with the Washington Capitals for the Metropolitan Division lead all season.
