In Atlanta's first game without both De'Andre Hunter and Dyson Daniels, Risacher's playing time spiked to 35 minutes. Bogdan Bogdanovic and Vit Krejci are also out, which leaves Atlanta quite thin at forward. RotoGrinders has Risacher projected for 33 minutes. Risacher hasn't shot well to begin his career. He's currently at 23.8% from 3-point range and 35.4% from the field. Not good. The volume is the main positive, as he is 3rd on the team in usage rate among available players. He's taken nearly 10 shots per game despite averaging just 25 minutes. He took a season-high 15 shots on Wednesday against Washington. It would be nice if he actually started making them, but the shots are there. Risacher has grabbed 5 rebounds on 9.7 rebound chances in the 3 games he's played 20+ minutes. The absence of Hunter and Daniels should give him a boost on the glass. The matchup against Sacramento isn't a scary one. This game has a high total and a fairly tight spread. It will be a solid environment for production, and Risacher should play 30+ minutes.

Risacher has been solid to start his rookie season; however, there is one thing he does not do - pass the basketball. Risacher only makes 16.4 passes per game, compare that to Jalen Johnson (79.4), Trae Young (72.4), De’Andre Hunter (23.5), and Garrison Mathews (14.3) for reference. He is averaging just 1.2 assists per game on 2 potentials. Even last game where he played 35 minutes he had just 3 potential assists. Here, the Kings actually do a good job of limiting their opponents’ assists and they are not the Kings of old, they play slower with DeMar DeRozan and should not be considered a Pace Up spot, especially against a Hawks team that already plays at the second-fastest Pace in the league. Risacher can have a solid game from a scoring perspective, but he is not being leaned on to dime. I’m drinking all of this juice and grabbing under 2.5 assists.
