Since his 30 PR performance vs. the Bulls on Nov 8th, Gobert has had to face POR three times (6th fewesr PPG vs. C), meeting Clingan/Ayton/Timelord down low, the Heat with Adebayo and their slow pace, and the Kings who rank top-3 in permitting points in the paint. But his next matchup should be a good bounceback vs. Jakob Poeltl, an opponent he’s consistently dominated in the past. In his last three games vs. him, he’s averaging 29.0 PR with games of 31, 22, and 33 PR. Amongst the 28 starting centers who’s averaging at least 26.0 minutes per game, Poeltl allows the 5th most opposing points in the paint, 4th most 2nd chance points, and ranks 7th in team defensive win shares. And with Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett taking more usage away from Poeltl on offense , this could mean more rebounding chances since he’ll be in drop coverage waiting to block a shot (I like his upside in that category this game too). #PlayerProps
