Averaging 15 ppg this season, but I’ll still fade him on a lower line. Brutal matchup against a UConn team that shuts down the paint. In the big east, they’ve held Crosswell x2, Kalkbrenner, Dixon, Ighodaro x2 more than a bucket under their ppg average over the last 6 weeks. It’s a tough matchup for Iona’s guards too, but both Clayton and Jenkins will get their volume, and their midrange games likely will be Iona’s best chance at scoring.

NJJ has relied on offensive boards to clear this number at a high rate. However, he’s facing a UConn team that not only does a good job of preventing off reb, but they send teams to the line at one of the highest rates in the country. Both factors could limit the number of off reb NJJ gets here. It’ll also be tougher for him to secure def reb considering UConn is a good shooting team, turn the ball over at a higher rate, and have the highest off reb rate in the country. Projecting this closer to 9 with a 58% chance of staying under 9.5. Getting this at +100 is nice

At DK: How can I not bet on this prop, at least for some fun. While this isn't the biggest edge of the game (see my Shema bet for that), it's still a 12.3% edge. Plus the dude's got a great name. Unfortunately for him, Berrick JeanLouis has only made 15 threes in 30 full games this year. That was with Iona averaging 76.1 points in those games. Their implied team total against UConn is just 66.25. It gets worse. UConn is #3 in the nation in percentage of points scored against them from downtown, allowing just 22.8% of all points to come via 3 vs. a 30.8% national average. I'm projecting BJL for 0.4 threes made, with a 67.9% chance of being held to no threes. Gotta love betting on a shutout prop!
