Even though MIN has one of the hottest bats right now & Fried has been struggling, his splits lineup perfect vs this lineup. He’s only allowing a .196 BA away & has locked up righties allowing only a .201 BA vs his BA against lefties which is .347 (drastic difference). This is important because MIN will have 8 righties in their expected lineup today.
On the other side, ATL bats cooled back off ranking 16th in BA in the L15 days & 17th in the L7 days. Ober has been pitching a full 6+ innings in his L11 games (2.57 ERA).

Max Fried has been slipping a little of late, his xERA is all the way up to nearly four, suggesting where the Twins could get at him. It's been a good year so far for him, except in his last three starts, where Fried has an ERA of 6.23 to show he's not in his best shape. Fried's chase and whiff rates are in the 44th percentile, lesser than top-of-the-line pitchers, meaning he will leave more balls in play, hence straight to the base hits recorded for Minnesota.
Twins' Offensive Capabilities One cannot underestimate Minnesota Twins when it comes to offense. They put up numbers for the 7th per game in runs, with the combination of players converting their hits to either power or just mere hits. They found success, especially against southpaw pitchers, like Fried, and feature an excellent roster that performs against these pitchers. Their home advantage also enhances the chances for it to become a high-scoring game because, on average, Minnesota scores almost 5 runs in their home field.
Bailey Ober's dangerous profile is as a flyball pitcher, with a 1.35 HR/9 rate against the fourth-place Braves, who rank fourth in Major League Baseball for home runs. The ability to put the ball in the air, along with the immunity to home runs, puts the Braves exactly in the spot where they like to do their best work: hitting the ball out of the park. Atlanta's ability to create quick offense through the long ball puts Ober in a particularly dangerous situation, especially at this time in Target Field, where, at times, hitters are favored by conditions.
While the Braves have just a middle-of-the-pack team batting average at .241, their .720 slugging percentage and 170 home run total speak to an offense that scores in a hurry and in bunches. These high-strike powers, and flyball tendencies from Ober all mix up into being that perfect recipe for an offensive explosion.
The bullpens for both teams offer opportunities to score even more runs. The Braves have a pretty good bullpen that has been working under a 5.00 ERA recently. The Twins' bullpen has holes they are trying to cover, with a 3.66 ERA and going up against an offense such as Atlanta's.
