Bulls vs. Pistons Odds & Betting Predictions - February 2, 2025

The Bulls are likely without Zach LaVine (Doubtful) today and one player that has seen an uptick is rookie Matas Buzelis. Buzelis has now played 21 and 26 minutes in the last two games without LaVine and scored 12 in each game. When Buzelis has played 20+ minutes this season he is averaging 11.5 points in 8 games. He would have exceeded this 8.5 line in 6/8 games as well. The Pistons are fine defensively, but Buzelis should see enough run to here to continue his strong play without LaVine. He has not been the most efficient player; however, this is more about the minutes than anything. I’ll grab over 8.5 points.

The Pistons face off against the Bulls in a game that is a clear Pace-Up opportunity for Detroit. I’m targeting Malik Beasley here. Beasley has surged as a 6th Man this season and is averaging 16.2 ppg. He has cleared this line of 14.5 in 63% of games this season including a 21 point performance against Chicago. The Bulls allow an extremely high frequency of above the break threes and this is where Beasley makes a living, taking 53% of his shots from there while shooting 39% and 41% overall from beyond the arc. I’ll back Beasley to exceed 14.5 points today.
