Hard rock - collab with @PropBomb and @SBK5065 For as great as Naz Reid started this series, an interesting development over the last two games has been his diminishing minutes and liability in net rating paired next to Karl-Anthony Towns on the court. Last game Reid saw 19 minutes, a series-low foreshadowing a lower upside going into Game 5. When he’s on the court defensively, he’s been tasked to close out on the perimeter threats, increasing his rebound distance to grab boards. In Game 5, he spent the most time on PJ Washington, and because Luka is getting blitzed more, it’s creating more usage going his way on passes to the corner. Reid was ultra efficient connecting on 5 of his 7 rebound chances. This series Naz is averaging 7 rebound chances per game in on 26.2 minutes. For tonight, we are expecting a lot less playing time, projecting around 18-23 minutes on the court. In games where he sees these minutes alongside the regular starters, he goes under 4.5 rebounds in 15/22 times, but as of recently, under in 9 of 12 (75% hit rate)

Hardy has officially leapfrogged Tim Hardaway Jr. in the depth chart and is playing impactful minutes in the short stints when he’s in the game. Last game, he started 0-2 with a turnover but Kidd still stuck with him. His 13 point game was a breakout and his star teammates will have more confidence in him than anyone one else on the floor. Hardy is not scared to get to his shot, and players are encouraging him to be aggressive when one of either Luka or Kyrie are off the court. #PlayerProps

🎙️Run it back - Discussed on @CashThatPodcast 🔄 Luka was tremendous on the glass yet again without Dereck Lively and racked up 15 rebounds on 17 rebound chances. While this is an incredible conversion rate, Luka has a 66% conversion rate during the Playoffs. The biggest thing is Lively’s absence and given the neck injury and how early he was ruled out of Game 4 I have some skepticism that he will be available in Game 5 when the initial expectations were that he could be available by the Finals. Luka is 6/9 on this line without Lively but with Gafford averaging 10.9 rebounds on 14.4 chances. I expect Luka to be the best rebounding option for Dallas and for him to record double digit boards in Game 5.
