Tiger Woods is now the betting favorite to win the 2019 Masters.
Woods was in the middle of a sparkling third-round at The Tour Championship when his odds at the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas shortened to 9-1, making him the favorite to win the Green Jacket in April. He was 12-1 before this weekend.
The 14-time Major winner is the only golfer with odds shorter than 10-1 at the moment. Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth are second favorites at 12-1 with Justin Thomas rounding out the top five at 14-1.
Woods leads the field at 12-under at The Tour Championship and shot five-under for the third round. He's posted six top-10 finishes, including finishing runner-up at the PGA Championship, in 2018.
Woods hasn't won a PGA Tour event since taking down the 2013 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio on Aug. 4, 2013. He hasn't won a Major since the 2008 U.S. Open.
