They lost a heartbreaker last week and I love riding with the team after that. The Bills are a dangerous team and overall I think better after the lions injuries. Shakir ⬆️ 54.5 Receiving Yards (-115 @ MGM)(+108 w/ 20% Boost) Khalil Shakir is positioned for a standout game in this matchup against the Detroit Lions, and it's a spot I'm particularly excited about. The Lions have been vulnerable against slot receivers this season, allowing the 2nd most receiving yards per game from the slot (97.3), along with the 5th highest yards per reception (11.94) and a 68.8% completion rate allowed. These numbers point to a potential field day for Shakir, especially since he lines up in the slot and can exploit Detroit's weaknesses in this area. While Keon Coleman and Dalton Kincaid may return to the lineup, it’s clear that quarterback Josh Allen has developed a strong connection with Shakir, making him a go-to target. Over his last 7 games, Shakir has recorded 50+ receiving yards and 5+ receptions in 6 of those, and he has seen at least 7 targets in every game during that stretch. With the Bills likely needing to pass frequently in what should be a high-scoring contest, this is an ideal opportunity for Shakir to shine. His consistent involvement in the offense and favorable matchup make him a strong fantasy play in this game, with plenty of upside.

Why is this important? Because mobile QBs that play the Lions run all over them with the amount of free space once they break the pocket. The Lions pass rush forces QBs out of the pocket and with them being in man coverage there is a lot more open grass to run then there is vs zone. This has lead to 8/13 QBs hitting their rushing lines against them. The only QBs to not reach their rushing lines vs the Lions are generally not running QBs. Mac Jones, C.J. Stroud, Jordan Love, Dak Prescott and Matthew Stafford are the 5 QBs held under their rush lines vs the Lions and ALL of them had a line under 15 yards (Jones 10.5 and Stroud 15.5), but the rest had lines under 8 yards. Josh Allen loves to use his legs and he will certainly get the chance here. He has 50+ yards rushing in 3/L4 games and runs more on the road. Lions are projected to win this game and in games where the Bills have lost, Allen is over this line in 2/3 games. Every QB that hit their rushing line vs the Lions this season did so on 4 or 5 total rush attempts. Allen averages 6 rush attempts this season and I expect him to break at least 1 big run in this one. Richardson was the only QB to have 10 rush attempts and ran for 61 yards on this defense. As a Lions fan that watches my team not care about the QBs legs every week, TAKE YOUR MOBILE QBs VS THE LIONS. Note: If this line has moved too much by the time you see it, I also like his o13.5 longest rush line as another option for .75u - 1u.
