Betting NFL parlay picks for touchdown scorers can be a lot of fun even if they’re mostly a losing proposition that will drain your bankroll if you’re not careful. Most sportsbooks tend to clean up on this bet type so how do we scratch the “parlay itch” without overextending ourselves financially?
Well, welcome to “The 180 Challenge.”
Every week during the NFL season, I'll bet a three-leg parlay with anytime touchdown scorers that comes out to +1800 or higher. We'll play $10 per parlay, $180 total for the season.
The goal is obviously to win as much as possible. But the safety net is you only need to hit one parlay all season to make your money back. If you go 0-18 (which is unfortunate), the positive spin is it's only $180. (Fortunately, that didn't happen last year.) This way, we can still participate in the fun touchdown parlays while managing our bankroll and not going overboard on bad spending habits.

Amari Cooper
Anytime TD Scorer (+175)
Amari Cooper only has two touchdowns on the year, but this is a dream matchup against a Commanders defense that is Swiss cheese.
Washington gave up 10 touchdowns to wide receivers last year, which was worst in the NFL, and they rank 31st in defensive DVOA to WR1 this season.
This should be the spot for Cooper to get right.
Pick: Amari Cooper Anytime Touchdown (+175)
Jaxon Smith-Njigba
Anytime TD Scorer (+200)
Jaxon Smith-Njigba hasn't scored yet this season, but he get a great matchup vs. the Giants here.
New York plays Man Coverage at a top-10 rate this season, ranks 24th in defensive DVOA vs. the pass, and has allowed five touchdowns to WRs thus far. Meanwhile. Smith-Njigba leads the Seahawks in total targets and target share when facing Man Coverage.
Coming off a game in which he had 12 targets, I like Smith-Njigba to get on the board.
Pick: Jaxon Smith-Njigba Anytime Touchdown (+200)
Marvin Harrison Jr.
Anytime TD Scorer (+165)
Marvin Harrison Jr. has exploded over the last three weeks, with four touchdowns in three games.
The rookie leads the Cardinals in red-zone targets and now gets a matchup against a 49ers team that has allowed four touchdowns to wide receivers this year. Moreover, this should be a pass-heavy game script for the Cardinals in a game in which they are listed as 7.5-point underdogs.
Harrison should find the end zone again this week.
Pick: Marvin Harrison Jr. Anytime Touchdown (+165)
