This is a classic spot to back Mike Tomlin and the Steelers.
As a road underdog and coming off a loss, Tomlin has routinely delivered for bettors throughout his career, as I'll get into below.

I'll happily take the field goal here and not bet the Steelers moneyline.

Steelers vs. Bengals Preview
Looking strictly at DVOA, this is a pretty even matchup. Pittsburgh is 15th overall and Cincinnati is 17th, and the two teams’ strengths will match up here with the Steelers' eighth-rated defense facing the Bengals’ sixth-rated offense.
The weather might not be conducive for a high-scoring affair, though, with temperatures forecasted for the high 20s with winds just below 10 mph.
Expect an old-school AFC North battle, which favors one team: Pittsburgh.
What favors the Steelers even more is the odds board. Pittsburgh is an underdog on the road, and those who often read our content will know that’s when you back Mike Tomlin.
First off, Tomlin is 23-11 (68%) against the spread (ATS) in his career against the Bengals. That’s a good start.
Now, for the underdog trends.
Tomlin is 25-9-2 (74%) as an underdog against AFC North opposition.
Also, Week 5 and later, Tomlin’s Steelers are 49-20-1 (71%) ATS as an underdog and 42-28 straight-up. If you filter that ATS trend to just include divisional play, Tomlin is 23-5-1 (82%) and 8-1 when coming off a loss.
Also helping us here is that the Steelers have found ways to at least keep games close all season. Their three losses have been by three, three and five points.
My Pick: Steelers +3 (-110)
