A game that was delayed nearly 90 minutes took nearly a full 60 minutes of gametime to decide.

In the end, the Cowboys emerged victorious a little before 1:00 a.m. ET after Dak Prescott fired a touchdown pass on fourth-and-goal to Jalen Tolbert with only 20 ticks on the clock.

The late-night game didn’t lack for drama, which is why it was only fitting it was decided on a 15-play, 70-yard drive, the last came down to a single snap. It looked like the Cowboys would be handed a crushing defeat after they marched it down to the goal line.

Prescott was dragged down a half-yard from paydirt on first down. Then, the entire stadium held its breath when Rico Dowdle fumbled at the goal line. However, Prescott was there to fall on it and keep the Cowboys' hopes alive.

It all came down to fourth-and-goal from the four after Prescott couldn’t find Tolbert on third down. Dallas actually had to call a timeout when the receiver was shaken up on the play. However, he returned for the pivotal, deciding snap and came through when it mattered most, hauling in the game-winner despite having a defender draped over his back.

The Cowboys weren’t the only ones to win big, though. The public loved Dallas, getting 2.5 points as 63% of all bets and 70% of the money was on them to cover. There was also big money on them to win straight up, making it a sweet win for those who stayed up late to watch it all play out.

At the same time, it was certainly brutal for the thousands of Steelers fans who braved the elements and late hour only to see their team lose in the final seconds.
