The Seattle Seahawks (9-7) and Los Angeles Rams (10-6) will face off in NFL Week 18. Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. The game will be broadcast live on FOX.

The Seahawks are favored by -7, with the game total set at 39 (-110o / -110u). The Seahawks are -300 favorites to win outright, while the Rams are +240 to pull off the upset.

Jimmy Garoppolo will get the start at quarterback for LA on Sunday, with Sean McVay opting to rest Matthew Stafford despite the Rams still jockeying for playoff seeding. Depending on Sunday's results, LA can land at the No. 3 or 4 seed. However, Geno Smith and the Seahawks have no path to a playoff spot in Week 18 after being eliminated in Week 17.

Let's get into my Seahawks vs. Rams predictions and NFL picks.

Seahawks vs. Rams NFL Week 18 Preview

There's not much to play for in Los Angeles in Week 18.

The Rams have clinched the NFC West already and will be either the 3rd or 4th seed in the NFC no matter what happens this week. That's not really a significant difference since, either way, they'll open the playoffs at home before likely traveling to take on one of the top teams in the divisional round.

On the other hand, Seattle was eliminated from playoff contention two weeks ago, so there's not much motivation on their end, either.

What that means for this game is that both teams will likely prioritize the health of key players over competitive football. Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith attempted a season-low in passes last week (not counting a game he left early due to injury) in what turned out to be a 6-3 win over the Bears.

On the Rams side, they've already ruled out key offensive players Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp, Kyren Williams and three of their five offensive line starters. While Jimmy Garoppolo is one of the league's better backups, it's hard to see him doing too much damage with the supporting cast around him.

NFL rosters are only so deep, though. With seven offensive starters getting the week off, the Rams defense should be mostly at full strength.

Between their desire to shorten the game and their full-strength defense, LA should limit scoring from Seattle here. Plus, with the offensive pieces available, it's somewhat unlikely the Rams put up a big score.

The total has already dropped from 43.5 earlier in the week, but I still like the Under 39 available at BetMGM. If that line moves, I'd take 38.5 at -110 or better, but I wouldn't go beyond that.

My Pick: Under 39 (-110)
