Abraham Ancer is one of the more popular players on the PGA TOUR who is still looking for his first win. Bettors are hoping he breaks through at this week's Travelers Championship.

Ancer (+2800) is one of the top liabilities at both PointsBet and BetMGM this week following the U.S. Open in a field with stars at the top in Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka.

The players take the long flight from California to Connecticut where they'll tee off at TPC River Highlands. Maybe a fresh start will benefit Ancer, who missed the cut at the U.S. Open. However, prior to that, he stacked up five consecutive top-20 finishes on the TOUR, including a T8 at the PGA Championship and a runner-up finish to Rory McIlroy at the Wells Fargo Championship. The 30-year-old Texas native owns two professional wins, including one on the Korn Ferry Tour.

Ancer is second in liability at both aforementioned sportsbooks. At BetMGM, he's second to Scottie Scheffler (+2500), who is coming off a T7 finish at the U.S. Open. He's taken the third-most bets behind just Koepka and DeChambeau.

It's Dustin Johnson who leads in total dollars at BetMGM, ahead of DeChambeau and Ancer. The book will also be rooting against Bubba Watson, who is third in liability.

Bubba is popular at PointsBet, as well. He's second in bets and third in total dollars, making him the book's fourth-largest liability. But it's Italian Guido Miglozzi who ranks as the biggest risk for the book. The 100-1 longshot has taken the third-most bets at PointsBet, ahead of Paul Casey and DeChambeau. Bettors are clearly hoping he can carry over his success after a T4 showing at Torrey Pines.

Finally, after watching Jordan Spieth turn back into the golfer he used to be, is Rickie Fowler next? Fowler is a top-five liability this week at PointsBet as he looks to regain his old form.
