After the Diamondbacks were able to rally for a pair of victories off Craig Kimbrel in Games 3 and 4, Zack Wheeler shut the door completely in Game 5. He went seven innings, allowed just one run on six hits and struck out eight.

Now, the Phillies are a game away from reaching the World Series for the second consecutive year.

The Phillies will be back home for Game 6 and we know the Bank will be rocking. Aaron Nola will get the ball and just may help the Phillies get back to the World Series.

In the regular season, Aaron Nola had a 5.43 ERA on the road. That has not been a concern for the Phillies this postseason, because he has made all three of his starts at home. In those starts, he has been excellent. Nola is 3-0 with a 0.96 ERA this postseason.

Not only has Nola pitched well, he has also worked deep into games. He has hit this line in all three postseason starts, pitching six innings in two of them. Nola has also hit this line in 74% of his starts this season. However, at home that number increases to an 82% hit rate.

Now the Phillies' bullpen will be fresh with a day off, so it is possible that manager Rob Thomson goes to it earlier. However, this line will really come down to how well Nola pitches.

Obviously, if he gets roughed up early, Thompson will pull him to limit the damage. However, if he gives up three or fewer runs, he should have no problem hitting this line by pitching six full innings.

Additionally, in the event that the Philles' bullpen coughs up another lead, having Nola pitch deep into tonight's game would set up the team well for Tuesday. It would be all hands on deck in a possible Game 7, and Ranger Suarez has not pitched longer than five innings thus far in the postseason.
