Juan Soto has been traded to the New YorkYankees, MLB Network's Jon Morosi reported on Wednesday.

The trade news has already shifted odds boards in their favor. Prior to the trade, FanDuel graded the Yankees as the sixth-best favorites at +1200. Now, those odds are at +950 and the Yankees moved up a spot on the odds leaderboard.

Earlier on Wednesday — before the trade news — the odds board looked dramatically different.

World Series Odds

World Series Odds Pre-TradeWorld Series Odds Post-Trade
Braves+600+600
Dodgers+700+700
Rangers+850+900
Astros+850+850
Phillies+1000+1000
Yankees+1200+950
Blue Jays+1400+1400
Orioles+1500+1500

In essence, odds became worse for the Texas Rangers on account of the news, which had been one of Soto's potential suitors. So, too, were the Phillies, which saw their odds drop from fifth-best to sixth-best in baseball on account of the Soto to Yankees news.

Odds for the Braves, Dodgers, Astros, Blue Jays and Orioles remained the same, despite all five being impacted with Soto now in the American League.
