There's nothing like a day at the ballpark, particularly in the middle of spring. But of course, weather is always a factor when it comes to MLB — for those games played outdoors, anyway.
Each day, we're looking up and down the MLB weather forecasts to identify prime spots to place your bets based on how the winds are blowing and much more. And while we don't always have weather-based best bets, we have one today on Tuesday, May 7.
Here's our best bet based on the MLB weather today, as well as the full weather forecast for MLB for Tuesday's games.

When we're searching for weather bets, there's no more reliable spot to look at than Wrigley Field. Winds here play a greater role in the outcome than at any other ballpark, and even a negligible wind in another park can play a big role in the Windy City. Today we've got a 10 mph wind blowing from the southwest, which is out to dead center. In similar weather games at Wrigley those winds have led to a 50% increase in home runs and an 18% increase in runs scored. The total here is a low one, and I like a few deep balls to carry us Over the total of 8.5 runs scored.
As always, I'll continue monitoring and updating the weather on RotoGrinders, and on Twitter/X, @KevinRothWx.
MLB Weather Forecast for Tuesday, May 7
Scattered storms moving in during the latter half of the game.
Again the storm chances increase late-game. There's a shot we get the full game in before we arrive, but it's too early to know.
Another "scattered storms possible in the latter half of the game".
The game might end with some light rain, but I don't see it ever becoming heavy enough to be an issue.
Brief late start is possible, but the game will play, likely uninterrupted once it starts. Winds out to dead center at 10mph.
A few showers and storms around early mean a late start is possible, but the game will play, and the chance of an in-game delay is low.
Winds are ripping left to right across the field at about 20 mph.
