It's MLB Opening Day, meaning sportsbooks are offering plenty of boosts and promos for existing users.
Baseball isn't a sport that usually brings big sign-up offers, but given the volume, there will be plenty of +EV promos today and throughout the season.
FanDuel
1. No Sweat MLB SGP
FanDuel is offering a "no sweat" same game parlay with a different max by user, though most people got $5 or $10. It must be 3+ legs and +400 or greater.
The play I made is now off the board and I won't have another one yet.
2. World Series Profit Boost Tokens
FanDuel has another promo in which you need to bet $25 on a World Series winner, and you'll get two 50% profit boost tokens to use on other bets.
I took the Yankees at +850, which is a strong price compared to the rest of the market.
You do have until April 2 to bet a World Series future, so if you can't get to it before Opening Day, don't sweat. You'll have until April 6 to use the profit boost tokens.
3. Using the Profit Boost Tokens
Bet this promo now and you'll have the 50% profit boost tokens in time for Opening Day. I'm playing both:
I like using profit boosts on tight, plus-money markets with strong odds compared to other books. A "tight market" means the two lines are close together.
Again, you'll have until April 6 to use the profit boost tokens.
4. State-Specific FD Boosts
FanDuel has some strong plays that are state-specific for Opening Day. Click the state to autofill your bet slip with the boost.
Maryland:Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman boosted from -230 to +100 to get a hit is strong, and a must-play. Click to
Massachusetts: Rafael Devers 1+ hit is a must-play.
Pennsylvania: Nola 6+ K's and Trea Turner to get a hit at +200 is a must-play.
New York: Max Scherzer 5+ K's and Mets win at +200 is a must-play.
Illinois: Dylan Cease 6+ K's and White Sox to win vs. Astros at +280.
Ohio: Shane Bieber 6+ K's and Jose Ramirez hit vs. Mariners
5. Bonus Bets from Other Promos
If you've played previous no sweat bets from college hoops over the past few weeks, you may have two, $25 bonus bets available. Here's how I'm using them:
Play 1: Real Madrid vs. Valladolid over 4.5 (+600)
Play 2: Reds–Pirates under 4.5 runs first five innings, and then over 1.5 first period goals in the following NHL games — Blue Jackets-Bruins, Kings-Oilers, Ducks-Kraken. It should come out to about +734.
DraftKings
1. Ohtani Hit Boost
DraftKings has boosted Shohei Ohtani to get 1+ hit from -195 to +100 with a $25 max. It's a strong +EV play.
2. DraftKings No Sweat Bet
I'll have a play later for DraftKings' no sweat MLB bet. You can make any bet up to $10 until April 2, and get $10 back in bonus bets if it loses.
This includes single bets, SGPs and other parlays.
Caesars
1. Bet Four $25 MLB Moneylines, Get $25
Caesars has done this style of offer before and it's worth doing. You need to place four, $25 MLB moneyline bets, and you'll get a $25 bonus bet. The moneylines need to be -200 or longer (so -150 is OK, -300 is not).
Typically for these type of promos, I'm trying to find lines in which Caesars has a better price than the market.
So far I've played:
- Astros -135
- Yankees -180
- Brewers -140
2. HR Boost
Get a 25% profit boost on a player to hit a home run — I went with Braves OF Marcell Ozuna to +719 and would do Braves' Austin Riley at +538.
0.5u czr play:
Marcell Ozuna to hit a homer boosted to +719 (backup play if it moves is Austin Riley boosted to +538)
(Some people may not have the tokens yet but it seems they’re coming through for most people now so hopefully everyone will have one soon) pic.twitter.com/8PPqD5znm6

Golden Nugget
If you have Golden Nugget in your state, Yordan Alvarez +100 to record a hit is a must-play.
