On Tuesday, we travel to Los Angeles to find value in a NRFI between two National League teams –the Dodgers and Brewers.
The Brewers will send out the NRFI phenomenon Corbin Burnes, who is 22-2 to the NRFI with an impressive 10-1 road NRFI split. Burnes has been dominant when facing hitters the first time through the order, only allowing a .157 average overally and a .174 average to leadoff hitters, specifically.
Here are some of Burnes' best matchups today:
- Mookie Betts: 0-for-1
- Freddie Freeman: 2-for-6
- Will Smith: 1-for-4
- Max Muncy: 0-for-3
He has held the Dodgers' projected top of the order to 2-for-14.
The Dodgers will counter with 2022 standout Tony Gonoslin, who is an impressive 20-2 to the NRFI with a perfect home NRFI split at 10-0. His NRFI success stems from dominating teams' lead-off hitters and getting that first out. When facing lead-off hitters, Gonsolin has forced them to go 6-for-57 for only a .108 average.
Here is how these Brewers bats have done in the past against Gonsolin:
- Christian Yelich: 0-for-3
- Rowdy Tellez: 0-for-3
- Willy Adames: 0-for-2
- Hunter Renfroe: 0-for-4
Gonsolin has had the upper-hand in all of these past matchups, holding the Brewer' projected lineup hitless. Andrew McCutchen hasn’t faced Gonsolin yet, but he is in the midst of a slump, going just 4-for-24 this past week at the plate.
Bet on these two 20-win NRFI pitchers to have a shut-down first inning. Take the NRFI between the Dodgers and the Brewers.
As always, six outs to glory…
